Tonight: Tainted Love?

Tonight we will be discussing Blood Donations and the Queer Community.

Hope to see you there!

Thank you to UW Health Services and Tonight’s Participants!

Tonight’s 4-Month Club event was a success and plans are in the works for another event this Fall!  Thank you to all those who came out to support the event!

A very special thank you to UW Health Services for all of their efforts in organizing the event! They did an amazing job of welcoming WNDG participants and transforming the Health Services Building for the event! The willingness of Health Services to cover the costs of having staff and testing available after regular hours (not to mention the delicious food and drinks!) went well beyond the call of duty!

I will be summarizing the feedback from participants and posting it on the 4-Month Club website within the next few weeks. If you did not hand in a completed questionnaire this evening, feel free to bring it to next week’s discussion or forward your comments via e-mail.

Reminder: New Location (Health Services) and Time (6:30 PM) for Tonight’s Special Event!

Just a reminder that the WNDG will be co-hosting it’s first ever 4-Month Club event at Health Services this evening! Check out the previous post and wndg.ca website for more details.

We will me meeting at the Health Services Building (Not the PAS Lounge) starting at 6:30 pm (rather than 7:15 pm). The event will wrap up at 8:30 pm (so people can still head over to the Grad House!)

Volunteer Opportunities with the Ten Oaks Project

Over the past month I have been providing information on some volunteer opportunities with the Ten Oaks Project – which is a group that has ties to former discussion group participants (and members of GLOW/Federation of Students). There is another opportunity available – they are looking for people who would be interested in offering workshops at a Leadership Retreat ! There is a particular need for workshops in grant writing and digital video editing. You can find out more information by visiting:
