This weekend is Thanksgiving and it is not uncommon for some people to head home to spend the weekend with family and friends. Unfortunately, not everyone has the option of heading home for the holiday, and the campus can be a quiet and lonely place for those staying in town – but that doesn’t have to be the case this weekend! :)

For the past few years, I have hosted a Thanksgiving Gathering on campus for members of GLOW, the WNDG and other members of our local Rainbow family! We generally play board/video games, chat, watch TV – it is a very informal gathering. There will also be some snacks available and we will order in pizza (pay what you can) for dinner!

This year, the event will be held in the GLOW Centre (SLC 2101) from 4:30 pm until approximately 10:00 pm.
