With the expansion of the online presence and the starting of the WNDG E-mail List (See Staying in Touch for more information) there are some opportunities for people to get more actively involved with the WNDG:

  • Weekly Announcements Volunteer: Every week, participants in the WNDG share information about upcoming events in the local area that they believe participants might be interested in. The Weekly Announcements Volunteers record the announcements and send them out to the WNDG E-mail List after the discussions. These volunteers will help people stay connected to the WNDG – even if classes or other commitments keep them from regularly attending the group.
  • WNDG E-mail List Moderator: Once the new e-mail list gets up and running, individuals will be requesting permission to be added to the list. Some assistance in managing the e-mail list subscriptions would be most appreciated.
  • Facilitators: Of course, there is always a need for individuals to help facilitate the discussions.
