Happy New Year! Join us for the first WNDG and Social of 2012!
The first Wednesday Night Discussion Group of 2012 will be held this Wednesday! Our scheduled topic is Coming Out to Friends and Family. This will be followed by our weekly social at the Grad House (starting at approximately 8:45 pm).
If you will be joining us this week after some time away, you may be interested in the following changes to the discussion group over the past four months:
- We have changed the schedule of formats for our weekly discussions and included a new format: Community Building Through Circle Dialogue discussions! You can find out details about these changes by visiting the About page.
- The Schedule for the discussion formats and topics (through to the end of April) is posted on the website.
- The Wednesday Night Discussion Group is now the official sponsor of the socials held at the Grad House every week after the discussion. Thanks to GLOW for sponsoring the socials for the past few years and the Grad House for their willingness to continue to host us! Note: The socials will only be held if there are enough interested participants at the end of every discussion (otherwise we will call to cancel our reservation).
Hope you will be able to join us this week.
The WNDG will close out 2011 with a Circle Dialogue!
This week will be our last discussion group for 2011 (there will be no discussion group held next week)! We will be closing out the year with a circle dialogue on Age Differences and Queer Relationships! Hope you can join us!
Also, please note that there will NOT be a social at the Grad House after the discussion group this week, as they are closing early for the holidays.

Finding it hard to meet people? You DEFINITELY don’t want to miss the WNDG this week!
This week we revisit the popular “Cruising 101: How to Meet Queer and Questioning People of all gender identities” discussion topic!
The difficulties that individuals can have tying to meet other queer and questioning people in the local area is one of the most popular topics during our Wednesday Night discussions. This evening, the Lead Facilitator, Jeremy Steffler, will share anecdotes and “collective wisdom” related to meeting new people for friendship or relationships, that have been shared by WNDG participants during his over 10 years facilitating the group. Participants will be invited to respond with their own thoughts and anecdotes to add to the “collective wisdom”.
This is one discussion you will not want to miss! Hope to see you there!
